A Farewell to Texas

My third show at the Matthew Travis Gallery in Houston, Texas, was bittersweet. It had been a great experience exhibiting in Houston, meeting so many kind, interesting and fascinating people and getting to know the art scene in a different city than New York. (And, boy is it different!) But now, it was time to think about packing up and heading back to New York. For the final exhibition, “Homecomings,” I included the oils, “Frieze” and “Meeting,” as well as five watercolors: “Violinist,” “Musicians,” “Cellist,” “Dancers, Movement” and “Yellow Dancer.” My oil “Sunny” appeared in the gallery front window.
