A Palette of Possibilities

This September I am represented in the fall exhibition of the Artists Council in Palm Desert, California. I am showing one of my larger oil compositions depicting a pottery yard in La Quinta in the Coachella Valley. The Council invited artists to “push their creative boundaries and produce one-of-a-kind works that resonate with both the local community and art aficionados.” I chose to submit a painting depicting a yard filled with the kind of colorful Mexican-inspired pottery you can see throughout the Valley, a subject that combines both location and art.
