Vineyards abound throughout the Napa Valley. What intrigued me about this particular spot were the wildflowers. Their delicate white and orange blossoms were a nice complement to the rows of lush green vines, not yet sagging under the weight of grapes. The small winery at the back of the field completed the image. I spent a quiet morning here creating what would become “Vineyard on Zinfandel Lane.”
