The simplicity of a field, cloudy skies, vineyards, the farm houses and steep hills in the distance- these locales enchant me and bring me great joy and satisfaction. My agitated manner of painting works as a foil to the calm scene, creating a tension in spite of itself. If style was any indication of personality, I think this manner and quality shows me as I am.
