I enjoy traveling the byways in Napa eyeing potential motifs. While I’ve often focused on vineyards, I recently stumbled on a heavily wooded area that had been burned in one of the many fires we had here last summer. I was drawn to how nature was regenerating itself as new growth flourished among the burnt trees. I called the resulting watercolor “Avenue of Trees, Napa.” Check it out.
