If this painting ever underwent an X-ray analysis they would find roughly ten other figures under layers of paint! I worked on this painting over ten years, and was never satisfied with the result till now. I went back to it a few weeks ago and just revised the cast of characters. As it stands these folks are at Carnegie Hall, just saw a great performance, and are heading out of the theater.
