I had so many stormy and rainy days in my neck of the woods recently. I saw my neighbor’s house stand out in such relief from the inky darkness—the light hitting in such a otherworldly manner—I wanted to share it and record it. It had such a poetry, I can only hope I conveyed a bit of it in this watercolor.
